Tonight at 9pm EST: Dissident Film Club - The Many Villains of 'The White Lotus'

Hi everyone - it’s 2023, which means as promised, we’re starting our Dissident Film Club series, which will focus on socially and politically relevant movies and television, past and present.

Episodes will premiere every Friday night at 9pm EST, starting tonight. Our first episode is a previously paywalled subscriber-only deep dive on the themes, ethos, and characters of the hit HBO series The White Lotus. Friend of the show, columnist, novelist, and poet Anis Shivani joined me (Keaton) for a great discussion on this zeitgeist pop culture event, and we’re very excited to premiere this episode this evening.
