Ironic that despite years of ominous warnings from Fox News, it would be Israel that one day would wage a literal war on Christmas. As we covered in our Christmas Eve livestream, Christmas is effectively canceled in Bethlehem. The Palestinian town of about 28,000, situated just south of Jerusalem in the occupied West Bank, is dark this holiday season.
There are just too many moving parts in this M.E. conflict to not easily avoid an escalation. Expect matters to get worse. Prayers make no difference.
