When watching a couple of your segments, a thought occurred to me about Matt Taibbi's silence on Israel/Gaza. I love Taibbi's and Walter Kirn's America This Week podcast. Taibbi is the best political/social writer of my generation, and Kirn is Vonnegut + Hunter Thompson cranked to 11. But I can't help but notice the conspicuous absence of their comment on Israel and Gaza. On the one hand, I get my fill of comment from you guys and others, so I'm glad they spend their time on other subjects instead of repeating what I hear elsewhere. Then again, given the horrors being meted out to the Gazans using weapons supplied by the US and the West in general, I think, after more than a year of this and all the declarations of genocide from several authoritative sources, there is some moral responsibility at play — You can't sit on the fence and say "we're not gonna be divisive" when you're doing podcast committed to socio-political commentary. Given your friendship with Taibbi (not sure if you know Kirn), I wonder what your thoughts are on their silence.

A very entertaining and, at times, poignant show. I would have added one category, however, to your end-of-year awards: Best Impressions. I would give such an award to Keaton for his Norman Finkelstein impression and Russell for his Alex Jones impression. You both tie for your Donald Trump impressions. :)
