They also have a therapeutic lung cancer vaccine. In additio,The Cuban doctors accepted child victims of the Chrenobyl disaster to be treated in Cuba. There is a very good film that deals with the latter topic, called "El Tracductor ("The Translator"), with Rodrigo Santoro.
Soberana had about a 71% efficacy rate, while their Abdala vaccine reached 92.2% efficacy. It was a protein attenuated vaccine, rather than MRNA-based. Cuba has also developed the Mambisa, a mucosal vaccine. I think it is important to study the health systems of other countries in order to take away the best each country has to offer.
