I appreciated the segment on Cuban doctors, some of the best in the world. They were able to develop their own Covid vaccine, the Soberana, at the height of the pandemic, despite the embargo. They also have a therapeutic lung cancer vaccine. In additio,The Cuban doctors accepted child victims of the Chrenobyl disaster to be treated in Cuba. There is a very good film that deals with the latter topic, called "El Tracductor ("The Translator"), with Rodrigo Santoro.

And I’ll bet any money that their Soberana worked a lot better than the shit they forced on U.S.!

Soberana had about a 71% efficacy rate, while their Abdala vaccine reached 92.2% efficacy. It was a protein attenuated vaccine, rather than MRNA-based. Cuba has also developed the Mambisa, a mucosal vaccine. I think it is important to study the health systems of other countries in order to take away the best each country has to offer.
