Chris Cuomo is the latest high profile news host to testify to the horrors of the October 7th Hamas attacks as compiled in the 47-minute video, Bearing Witness. The film, produced by the Israeli military and initially screened for The New York Times editorial staff, the White House, and Western intelligence agencies like the CIA and MI5, is a collection of explicit videos and photos documenting the atrocities which occurred on 10/7. It is only through these sources that the general public has been made aware of the film’s contents, as it is yet to be shown to public audiences.
It’s sad to me that we need to keep repeating how sad we are about 10/07 and keep condemning Hamas. As if we are all agreeing this all started in October. Meanwhile, the year up to Oct was another record setting year of illegal settlements, dead journalists and “mowing the lawn” deaths.
Should watch Owen Jone’s comments on YouTube as he was invited to watch the film. From what I remember Jones said that none of the so-called evidence of atrocities could be independently verified. Also as Max Blumenthal and others have pointed out the burnt bodies were most likely from hellfire missiles from Israeli helicopters. I’m not denying that the Palestinian resistance could be held accountable for war crimes, but we all have to ask if the eager willingness of western media to uncritically accept these unverifiable and maybe fabricated stories indicates a deep seated racism toward Arabs and Palestinians in particular. Coumo’s demented ranting reminds me of the Hutu radio announcers who fanned the flames of the Rwandan genocide.
Completely agree, the fabrication and worse, dissemination of outright lies to create the narrative for public buy in to their vile, evil pre orchestrated plans predicate on repossession of land that is not theirs including the resources that lie under and adjacent is obscene and evil… add the Ben Gurion motivation, the Wet Dream of billionaire zionists to the appropriation of Condensates and oil and you realise the true extent of this evil… further, when you equate the actual deaths against the lies perpetuated in the aftermath Oct 7 it is vile, many deceased indeed military, many killed by the IDF, a preponderance of innocents, so, who indeed are the worst amongst us… time to decide and to make a stand, to find your backbone I say… kia kaha from NZ, love your work..

But considering that Israel is a pathological liar, I can’t help but assume that releasing Bearing Witness to the public would subject the footage to scrutiny that it cannot survive. IOW, I have to wonder, if not assume, that some smoke and mirrors were utilized (AI anyone?).
