I read about the coup of the Pakistani pm. It’s got the CIA’s grubby little fingerprints all over it. This is overall the same way I’ve been viewing our ‘humanitarian’ wars, since I started watching the news with my father as a kid. It’s even the same sociopaths who started the Iraq war, which was started by the same sociopath instrumental in Vietnam, the playbook is so painfully obvious by now. Their relentless pursuit of oil and gold, at any human cost, while blaming those costs on their colonial victims, is similar to the ruthlessness displayed by the conquistadors when they encountered the natives in the Americas. We need to get a handle on our mass narcissism and return to diplomacy and cooperation. Endless oppression of everyone who is ‘not us’ has been the road to ruin for every empire in history.
