Great analysis! One can’t but help watching in horror as the left eats itself in an orgy of judgement and derision. Centrist Democrats are just a placeholder for blocking real leftists from gaining power. They sank Bernie’s campaign rather effectively and keep third party candidates off the ballot. I think their real intent is to pretend to lose to Republicans and divide the left to weaken it further, so this divisive rhetoric is being driven by them and their ‘third way’ allies. Our choices aren’t left or right, but right wing woke militarism/rapacious capitalism or Christian fascism, as Chris Hedges describes it. Rogan should interview Hedges, if he hasn’t already.
The general population of the left is being systematically divided and jettisoned, just like Bernie supporters were expelled by rabid Hillary followers in 2016. Anyone who questions the ideology dropped on us from on high, instead of arriving at it through debate and consensus, is burned at the stake of left public opinion. It’s disgusting and many will flee the left because of it, apparently even Rogan.
